Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Adrian, Michigan
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 18:30–7:00
• 48 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Float within service line/scope of practice as needed

Unit Details

• 27-room, 27-bed Emergency Department
• Rural hospital
• Primary Stroke Center
• Seeking Trauma IV designation
• Patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Average daily census: 76
• Staffing ratio: 1:4–5 on all shifts
• Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 3 years of Emergency Department experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Patient ratio experience at 1:4
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management
• Continuous IV sedation
• IV vasopressors
• Procedural sedation administration
• CVA experience
• Traumatic brain injury experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic
