Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

• Driver’s license or state ID must be brought on the first day, and the name must match the RN license
• Social Security card or last four digits of SSN must be provided
• Work authorization verification is required
• Background check and education verification are required
• 2 clinical references are required
• Skills checklist and employment application/resume are required
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement is required
• APS Registry Clearance Form and results are required before orientation
• Badge photo must be submitted within 72 hours of signing
• Physical exam is required and must be updated annually
• Fit test is required annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray is required within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire is required
• Drug test is required
• Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption is required for applicable start dates
