LTC LVN/LPN Travel Contract
Overview
- Location: Seward, Alaska
- Employment type: Travel/Contract

Schedule
- Shift options: 4x12 variable or 3x12 variable
- Shift timing: Days or nights, based on facility needs
- On-call: No
- Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN / LVN license in Alaska
- Long Term Care (1 year of experience)
- Long Term Care experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Driver's License
Additional Requirements
- First-time travelers not accepted
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Pending license not accepted
- Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays
- Alaska Food Worker Certification is obtained during onsite orientation
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are required to operate the assignment vehicle

- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask
- Negative TB or chest X-ray
- Tdap within 10 years
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Rubeola, mumps, rubella, and varicella documentation
- Drug screen
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccination documentation or declination
- Respirator clearance
