Neuro ICU Travel Nurse
Location
- Columbus, Ohio
Job Type
- Travel/Contract
Schedule
- Day and night rotation, 3x12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend
- Rotation every 4 weeks
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed
- Paired scheduling with another traveler is not available
Patient Care Setting
- Neuro ICU
- Estimated patient ratio: 1:1–2
- Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Neuro ICU (2 years of experience)
- Neuro ICU experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Ventilators
- Intracranial Pressure Monitoring
- Experience with Epic

- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment
- State license verification
- NURSYS verification
- Unit-specific competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
- Annual stroke education may be required based on unit assignment
