Overview

• Travel/contract CT Tech role in Paterson, New Jersey.
• Schedule: Saturday/Sunday/Monday, 9:00 AM–10:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch.
• Holidays are required.
• No on-call requirement.
• No floating.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Jersey.
• CT Technologist experience within the last year.
• 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• ARRT (CT).
• Trauma experience.
• Experience with GE imaging equipment.
• Experience with Toshiba imaging equipment.
• Experience with IV contrast injection.
• Experience with cardiac-related radiology procedures.
• Must include RTO, block, and scheduling requests at time of submission.
• Accepts first-time travelers.
• Cerner experience is preferred, not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cerner experience.

Procedures / Clinical Skills

• General CT
• Angiograms
• Stroke
• Trauma
• IR procedures
• Perform diagnostic CT examinations
• Administer contrast
• Position patients
• Maintain required supplies
• Perform X-ray examinations as needed

Department / Setting

• Cat Scan department serving an inner-city community with stroke, adult trauma, and pediatric trauma services.
• Department operates three CT scanners: two GE scanners in the Main CT department and one Toshiba scanner in the ED.
• Works closely with the ED.
