Job Overview

Key Assignment Details

• Unit accepts first-time travelers.
• Minimum experience: 1 year.
• Call is required, up to 12 days per month, including every other weekend.
• Weekend coverage is included in call requirements.
• Floating may occur within the facility/scope of practice and to another hospital as needed.
• Locals are accepted.

Required Qualifications

• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Georgia state license, if applicable.
• Education verification of related degree noted on the application.
• Background check must be completed before start.
• Photo ID required.
• Skills checklist within 12 months, updated annually.
• Verification of most recent employer required.
• 2 clinical references required by the staffing agency.

Required Health and Compliance Items

• Physical exam within 12 months of start.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start, with TB questionnaire required for all candidates.
• Drug screen within 60 days of start.
• Flu vaccination or declination required.
• Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or signed declination.
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required.
• Tdap is recommended.
• Color blind testing required.
• Full compliance is required before start.

Scheduling and Holiday Expectations

• Maximum requested time off: 7 days.
• If holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler may be expected to work one or more major holidays depending on assignment dates.

• Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length.
