• Additional call hours required
• Call requirement: approximately 70-80 hours in a 4-week period
• Response time: 30 minutes

Role Summary

• Intra-operative nursing care using the nursing process
• Circulating procedures, instrumentation of procedures, and assisting surgeon and/or anesthesia providers
• Patient populations include ENT, general surgery, orthopedics including spine, podiatry, dental/oral surgery, pain management, ophthalmology, urology, OB/Gynecology including c-sections, vascular, and bariatric
• Clinical activities include circulating, instrumenting, first assisting, patient education, and resource nurse duties

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS
• ACLS
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic
