Job Opportunity: RN Critical Care

Job Description

• Provide safe patient care using nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Deliver direct patient care within scope of practice in the ICU.
• Guide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel while maintaining ICU standards of care.
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient condition changes, hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes or treatment responses.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid California RN License.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a staff RN in acute care hospital critical care.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred but not required.
• COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred.

Required Credentials & Compliance (Must be completed prior to or at onboarding)

• Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years).
• COVID-19 Vaccine: 2 doses plus booster or completed declination.
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer.
• Hepatitis B vaccination or declination accepted.
• Influenza Vaccine or declination (required during flu season).
• TB Test within 1 year of start date.
• Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport.
• Varicella vaccination or immunity proof.
• Tdap vaccination or declination accepted.
• Physical/Health Statement annually, stating clearance to work.
• National Criminal Background Check within 1 year of start date.
• Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80% score or attestation).
• Prime Skills Checklist.
• Color-blind test (annual).
• Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test (specific to California locations).
• License/Certificate Verification with primary source verification within 30 days of start.
• Workplace Violence Prevention Training (DCI/BVP).
• Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation).
• Signed job description.
• Prime OIG and SAM/EPLS exclusion checks.
• Agency attestation completed after all credentials are uploaded.

Additional Information

• Annual respirator fit test is optional but recommended; must be completed prior to start if not done onsite.
• Two professional references required at time of offer acceptance, including one from a manager or direct supervisor.
• Resume must be up to date and reflect recent work history at time of offer acceptance.
