Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Night Shift

Location: Westerville, Ohio
Shift: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a night shift position. The role requires working overnight hours with weekend rotations.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Laboratory Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Valid Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) license, with verification dated within 30 days of start
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association, with current card images (front and back)
• COVID-19 vaccine booster proof (valid through Sept 2025) or approved exemption/declination (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report
• Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start (1st shot before start, 2nd shot 30 days later, 3rd shot 6 months later); titers not accepted
• Varicella: Proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer lab report
• Influenza vaccine is optional but recommended
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test required; positive TB requires chest x-ray within last year (for certain states) or within 5 years otherwise
• Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work within the last year
• Color vision test required
• 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (preferred within 14 days), including specific substances; no THC allowed
• Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) checks within 30 days
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check within 30 days
• Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Confidentiality Agreement, Code of Conduct, Integrity and Audit Services Form, and System Access Form must be signed and on file
• Specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist completed within the last year
• CORE exam (Joint Commission testing) within the last year
• Standard I-9 verification completed by agency

Additional Information

• This is a Long-Term Assignment (LTA).
• All documentation must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to or at onboarding.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.

This position is ideal for MLTs comfortable with night shifts and weekend rotations, who meet comprehensive health, licensing, and compliance requirements.
