Pharmacist I - Contract Position

Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

Prepare and dispense medications accurately and in a timely manner
Provide pharmacological information to the multidisciplinary healthcare team
Monitor patient drug therapies
Resolve questions regarding formulary and non-formulary medications following policies and procedures
Provide dosing and therapeutic recommendations based on patient age and pharmacokinetics supported by literature
Perform patient education on proper medication use, timing, side effects, and drug interactions as per department requirements

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy (ACPE)
0-2 years experience as a licensed Pharmacist
