Pharmacist I - Contract Position

Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and in a timely manner
  • Provide pharmacological information to the multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Monitor patient drug therapies
  • Resolve questions regarding formulary and non-formulary medications following policies and procedures
  • Provide dosing and therapeutic recommendations based on patient age and pharmacokinetics supported by literature
  • Perform patient education on proper medication use, timing, side effects, and drug interactions as per department requirements

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy (ACPE)
  • 0-2 years experience as a licensed Pharmacist

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks
