Pharmacist I - Contract Position
Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Contract
Job Description
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide pharmacological information to the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Monitor patient drug therapies
- Resolve questions regarding formulary and non-formulary medications following policies and procedures
- Provide dosing and therapeutic recommendations based on patient age and pharmacokinetics supported by literature
- Perform patient education on proper medication use, timing, side effects, and drug interactions as per department requirements
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy (ACPE)
- 0-2 years experience as a licensed Pharmacist

- 13 weeks
