Mental Health Coordinator

Location: California City, California
Employment Type: Travel Health Services
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature, including:

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques for individual caseloads.
• Deliver mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions as needed.

Work Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, either 1st or 2nd shift
• Weekdays and weekends
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Open availability required for scheduling flexibility

Required Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in California
• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
• Experience as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Additional Information

• Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory unless required by contract or statute
• Candidates must have no prior travel experience requirement specified

This position requires strong clinical skills in mental health coordination within a correctional or similar institutional setting.
