Job Opportunity: Mental Health Coordinator

Location: Leavenworth, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel Health Services
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

As a Mental Health Coordinator, you will plan and provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews.
  • Developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluations of needs and functioning levels.
  • Documenting treatment and evaluation activities in health care records.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Applying psychological counseling theories and techniques in treatment and activities.
  • Providing mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Kansas
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a mental health clinical role
  • At least 2 years of experience in a comparable mental health job position
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 5 years of experience and experience within the last year
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) experience, including experience within the last year
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor experience
  • Experience working in a corrections setting
