MRI Technician Position - Boston, Massachusetts
Job Summary
- Perform MRI imaging safely and efficiently following established guidelines and protocols.
- Must have sound knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, spine anatomy, neuro-vascular anatomy, and head and neck anatomy, including common diseases and their processes.
- Work independently and collaboratively with Radiologists and other imaging specialists to ensure exam efficiency and high diagnostic imaging quality.
- Provide patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
- Scheduled shifts: Friday 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM; Saturday & Sunday 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Additional Information
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test.
- Name change documentation required if credentials do not match current legal name.
- TB symptom survey required if positive PPD, updated annually.
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start.
- No conditional licenses accepted.
- Must comply with all credentialing and onboarding requirements prior to start date.
Work Hours
- Weekend and overnight shifts as specified above.
