Job Opportunity: Certified CT Technologist
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Evening shift position, Monday through Friday
- Work in a busy Level 1 trauma and stroke center
- Large academic medical center with a well-supported CT department
- Experience with Siemens and GE CT scanners preferred
Required Qualifications
- Certified CT Technologist license (ARRT certification required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred)
- Valid professional license verified by primary source (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted)
- N95 respirator fit test completed within 1 year prior to start date and updated annually (no onsite fit testing)
- Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (no exemptions)
- Tuberculosis (TB) screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test) and updated if there is a break in service
- Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 1 year of start date
- Criminal background checks including state and national registries, completed within 45 days prior to start date and updated as required
- Documentation of work experience for the past 7 years including city and state
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- Education verification of highest degree achieved
- Additional required attestations and forms as part of onboarding
Preferred Qualifications
- Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity (strongly preferred)
- Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years (preferred)
- Prior experience working with Siemens and GE CT scanners
Additional Information
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing and influenza vaccine
- Must comply with all health and safety requirements including annual updates of certain vaccinations and tests
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
