Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Interpret medical care plans and assess patients' clinical needs.
- Provide safe, competent, and individualized nursing care.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
- Record medical information, vital signs, and report changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify treatment plans based on patient responses and conditions.
Required Qualifications
- License: Valid RN license for Massachusetts (no conditional licenses accepted).
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted in some locations)
- N95 Fit Test (must be current within 1 year and updated annually)
- MGB Medication Exam (80% passing within 1 year)
- Influenza Vaccine (required during flu season, no exemptions)
- MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
- TB screening (skin test or blood test within 3 months, updated if >6 month break)
- Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 1 year, updated if >6 month break
- Criminal Background Check including Massachusetts CORI, SSN Trace, National Sex Offender Check, and Exclusion Checks (all must be current and compliant)
- Additional Health Requirements:
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof (strongly preferred)
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years (preferred)
- Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)

- Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical

- Knowledge of nursing principles and patient care across age groups.
