Job Opportunity: Endoscopy Technician

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• License: Must have current and valid professional license or certification as required for Endoscopy Technician in Massachusetts. Primary source verification required within 30 days of start date. Conditional licenses are not accepted.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Immunizations and Vaccines:

  • Documentation of MMR immunity (two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines) or proof of immunity via blood test.
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30); no exemptions allowed.
  • TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test) and updated if there is a break longer than 6 months.
  • Hepatitis B vaccine series strongly preferred or proof of immunity or declination.
  • Tdap vaccine within the last 10 years preferred.
• Fit Testing: N95 respirator fit test required within 365 days of start date and updated annually. No religious exemptions.
• Respirator Medical Clearance: Attestation required if fit test is required for the skill.
• Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if break >6 months.

Background and Credentialing Requirements

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months.
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if break >6 months.
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days of start and updated annually.
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days of start and annually.
• Social Security Number trace as part of criminal background check.
• Education verification of highest level achieved (not required for CNA).
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
• Two recent references, at least one supervisor or above, in relevant skillset.
• Skills checklist required for submission.
• Candidate submission coversheet required for submission.
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form required for all initial assignments and extensions.

Summary
