Radiology Technician - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Description

• Work in ER, fluoroscopy, and portable radiology services.

Required Credentials and Certifications

• BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• ARRT Certification
• Active professional license for the State of Louisiana (Primary Source Verification within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration)

Required Health and Immunization Documentation

• COVID-19 Vaccine (proof or exemption accepted, optional)
• MMR (proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with signed statement)
• Fit Test (N95 mask fit test within 1 year prior to start, updated annually)
• Hepatitis B (proof of 3 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with required approvals)
• Influenza Vaccine (required during flu season with medical/religious exemptions accepted with proper documentation)
• TB Test (negative QuantiFERON blood test within 1 year or 2-step skin test; if positive, MD note or proof of treatment required)
• Health Statement (signed within 1 year stating ability to work without restrictions)
• Varicella (proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with signed statement)
• Tdap (proof of vaccination within past 10 years or declination with required approvals)
• Annual TB Questionnaire (required within 6 months of start; if positive, documentation of evaluation and treatment completion required)
• Eye Exam & Color Vision (Ishihara Color Test and Snellen Vision test within 1 year prior to start)

Professional and Compliance Requirements

• Resume or profile submission required
• Criminal Background Check (completed within 30 days prior to start, including SSN trace, county and national checks, education and employment verification, driving record)
• Drug Screen (negative 10-panel within 30 days prior to start)
• Skills Checklist (unit-specific, within 1 year prior to start, updated annually)
• Competency Exam (passing score of 80% or higher within 1 year prior to start)
• Core Competencies (HIPAA, Patient Bill of Rights, Safety Orientation, Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire Safety, Infection Control, Elder Abuse and Neglect, Age Specific Care, Cultural Diversity, Advance Directives; current within 1 year, passing score 80%+, updated annually)
• HRIS Form submission required
• Badge Photo (forward-facing, well-lit, neutral background, JPEG format)
• Annual Education Packet compliance
