Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Position involves general radiology and surgical x-ray duties.
  • Work with a radiology team of 4 (up to 7 when fully staffed).
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
  • Work every other weekend with a day off before and after those weekends.
  • No on-call required.

Required Credentials & Certifications

  • Current professional license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association).
  • Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics) with minimum 80% score, completed within a year and updated yearly.
  • Fit Test (preferred before start, can be completed onsite).
  • Driver’s License or State ID (valid, not expired, matching address requirements).
  • Professional resume/profile and at least two professional references.
  • Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others, completed within 30 days prior to start and updated annually or after breaks in service.
  • Skills checklist for specialty, completed within one year and updated annually.
  • Education verification relevant to clinical work, completed within 90 days prior to start and updated after breaks in service.
  • Employment verification for the past seven years, updated annually or after breaks in service.
  • Drug screen: 12-panel drug test within 30 days prior to start, updated annually or after breaks in service.
  • Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
  • Immunizations and health requirements:
    • MMR: documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations).
    • Hepatitis B: vaccination series completion or signed declination.
    • Influenza vaccine during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement.
    • Varicella: documented proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations).
    • Tdap: valid within 10 years (no declinations).
    • TB testing: 2-step PPD or IGRA within required timeframes; if positive, chest x-ray and TB questionnaire required.
