MRI Technologist (Part Time, Weekends Only)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work two 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Outpatient setting
  • Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred
  • Potential availability for additional weekday evening shifts

Required Qualifications

  • MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • MRI Technologist experience within the last year
  • Registered MRI Technologist with ARRT certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proof of immunizations and health requirements prior to start, including:
    • MMR (2 vaccinations or positive titer)
    • Hepatitis B (series of 3, positive titer, or declination accepted)
    • Varicella (2 vaccinations or positive titer)
    • Tuberculosis test completed within 30 days prior to assignment start
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (exemptions considered case-by-case)
  • Physical/Health statement within the last year
  • Valid driver’s license or government-issued ID
  • Completion of a 9-panel drug screen within 90 days prior to start
  • Criminal background check completed within 90 days prior to start
  • Two professional references from a charge nurse or higher within the last 2 years
  • Highest level of education verified
  • Recent color badge photo meeting specified criteria
  • Current skills checklist completed within 12 months prior to start
  • Completion of annual compliance training module

Additional Information

  • Resume submission required
  • Specialty exam and pharmacology exam optional but recommended
  • Internal competency checklist to be completed within 2 weeks after start date
