Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room (Per Diem) - Days

Location: Redding, California
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)

Job Description

• Position: Registered Nurse in Emergency Room
• Must be able to float between units and work weekends
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts
• Preference for candidates available for a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February
• Minimum compliance requirements must be met prior to starting; full compliance profile must be completed within two weeks after the start date

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license for California (per specialty: RN Emergency Room)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention Certification)
• Compliance with the following health and safety requirements:

  • COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses plus booster or completed declination)
  • MMR immunity proof
  • Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine (declinations not accepted during flu season)
  • TB test within one year of start date
  • Varicella immunity proof
  • Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted)
  • Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start)
  • Physical/Health statement completed annually, clear to work
  • Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test for CA) within 60 days of start
• Professional requirements:

  • Driver’s license, State ID, or Passport
  • National criminal background check within one year of start date
  • Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80% score)
  • Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (minimum 80% score)
  • Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80% score)
  • Prime Skills Checklist (no expiration on assignment)
  • Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80% score)
  • Prime Criminal Background Check
  • Prime Agency Attestation
  • Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion search
  • Prime Badge Photo (JPEG headshot)
  • Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)
  • Prime Education Verification (diploma or transcripts accepted)
  • Prime Resume (up-to-date and accurate work history)
  • Two professional references (one from a manager or direct supervisor)
