Physical Therapist (Rehabilitation) - Temporary Position

Location: St Ignace, Michigan

Job Description

• Provide physical therapy to reduce pain and restore function and independence in patients recovering from surgery, injury, serious illness, or managing chronic conditions.
• Use a multidisciplinary approach combining exercise, strength training, manual therapy, and modalities to create individualized treatment plans.
• Begin treatment following a physician's prescription and a comprehensive evaluation.
• Work one-on-one with patients to help them return to work and normal daily activities safely and efficiently.
• Primarily focus on inpatient care, with some involvement in outpatient and long-term care settings.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Michigan
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
