Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Nights)

Job Description

• Provide total nursing care through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans.
• Collaborate with ancillary nursing and other patient care team members to maintain professional nursing standards.
• Care for a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Additional Information

• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
• On-call pay is provided at a fixed hourly rate with a minimum of 1 hour.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
• No increased pay rates for overtime, holiday, or call-back shifts.
• Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.

Patient Population

• Infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
