Speech and Language Pathologist

Location: Kerrville, Texas

Required Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Texas
• Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
• Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
• BLS
• Experience in a(n) Rehabilitation setting
• Experience in a(n) Long Term Care setting

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and rehabilitates patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develops and adjusts plans of care based on patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Communicates patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans with the supervisor and other health team members
• Documents required clinical information and treatment minutes in the electronic documentation system
• Participates in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
• Obtains necessary DME or supplies as needed
• Supervises and supports CFY or student speech-language pathologists
