Job Opportunity: Sleep Technologist (Temp, Nights)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma

Job Description

Sleep Technologists, also known as polysomnographic technologists, work with physicians to evaluate and treat sleep disorders by performing sleep studies on patients. Responsibilities include recording clinical data such as brain activity, heart rate, breathing patterns, and blood oxygen levels while patients sleep. This data is then used to develop reports that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating disorders like narcolepsy and sleep apnea.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sleep Technologist
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Additional Information

  • Orientation for Allied and Therapy Travelers starts on Tuesdays
  • On-call pay is provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum of 1 hour
  • Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted terms
