Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVPICU

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

3x12 hour night shifts
Float to PICU as needed
Pediatric experience required
Care for neonates, infants to adult patients with cardiac disease
Manage intubated and ventilated patients
Experience with inotropes and vasoactive medications
Care for patients with central lines, arterial lines, and peripheral IVs focusing on CLABSI reduction
Possible exposure to Berlin Heart and Heartmate devices
Nurse-to-patient ratio approximately 1:2
Ability to transfer and admit patients within the same shift

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
Minimum 1 year of recent Pediatrics CVICU experience
Pediatric experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience working with pediatric patients
