Job Opportunity: Dietitian (Pediatric Specialty) - Travel/Contract
Location
- Memphis, Tennessee
Position Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, typically 4x10 hour shifts (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Weekend Requirement: As needed
- Schedule Flexibility: Open to block schedules (Monday-Friday block)
- Start Date: ASAP
Specialty & Experience
- Specialty: Dietary Services (Pediatric Dietitian)
- Required Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred in pediatric dietetics
- First-time travel dietitians accepted if recent experience in specialty
- Pediatric experience is required
Licensure & Certifications
- Tennessee Dietitian license required (pending license accepted)
- Driver’s license must be included with submission
Required Qualifications & Compliance
- Valid Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Experience working with pediatric patients within the last year
- Must provide two forms of government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, social security card, passport)
- Background check within 60 days of start including statewide, county, federal searches, and education verification
- Various required health and immunization documents including:
- Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet job demands
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Proof of immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, and Tdap (required for this facility)
- Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 – Apr 30)
- Photo for badge with strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses with glare, recent within 6 months)
- Two recent professional references required

- Must submit all required documents at time of submission; late submissions may delay or prevent approval
- Facility is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center specializing in children’s healthcare
- Weekend shifts and schedule changes may occur based on facility needs
