Shift: Night shift, Monday-Friday, 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM (5 days/week, 40 hours/week)
Schedule: Overnight shifts with alternating weekends

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic imaging with a focus on Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiography.
• Work primarily overnight shifts.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR), Radiology Information System (RIS), Hospital Information System (HIS), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), and modality-specific software.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York.
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent relevant experience in CT imaging.

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years, including all aliases.
• Federal, state, and nationwide sanction and exclusion list checks.
• Education verification with primary source verification of all formal education.
• Employment application and 20-year work history verification with no gaps.
• Professional references: 2 for travel/allied/per diem acute care roles.
• Signed confidentiality agreement, staff attestation, and code of conduct acknowledgment.
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and training checklists.

Certifications

• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (AHA verified).
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA verified).
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification (AHA verified).
• State license verification (must be current and active with no pending adverse actions).
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable.
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgment.

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start, including vital signs, review of systems, medical history, and clearance to work without restrictions.
• Fit mask test (N95) within 1 year prior to start; must be completed before assignment.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray per specified options.
• Annual TB questionnaire.
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (titer or vaccine series or signed declination)
• Hepatitis C screening within 6 months if applicable.
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Sept 3 – May 31), with medical or religious exemptions requiring approval.
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 60 days prior to start (including amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine metabolites, methadone, methaqualone, opiates, phencyclidine, propoxyphene).
• Chain of custody form required with drug screen.
• Vision screening (Snellen) within 12 months prior to start.
• Color blindness testing if applicable (after failing online test twice).
