Job Opportunity: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 36 or 48 hour option (anything over 48 hours is overtime)
- Nurse to patient ratio: 1:6
- Unit size: 32 beds
- No call required
- Floating to like units may be required
- Weekend shifts: 6 weekend shifts within 6 weeks
- Charting system: Epic
- Rapid response team activation required
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- CHEMO certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
