Job Description

• Position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Primarily day shifts with varied schedule
• Weekend rotation with staff
• Work settings include Emergency Department (busy), Med-Surg Units, Critical Care/ICU/Stepdown Units
• Neonate experience required
• Must be able to prioritize patient care

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Experience in a Clinic setting

Additional Requirements

• Background check covering 7 years of residence/employment history
• Government-issued photo ID
• Professional references (2 required)
• Completion of employment application/resume
• Unit-specific skills checklist (annual renewal)
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety training prior to start
• Various facility-required documents and acknowledgments to be completed before start date
