Job Details

• Unit: ICU (Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Unit)
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years
• First-time Travelers: Not accepted
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-call: Not required
• Floating: Yes, within ICU service line units
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (must live at least 75 miles from facility)
• Pending License: Accepted
• Return to Origin (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 7 days
• Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks (cancelled shifts must be regular shift length)
• Shift Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued ID required
• Criminal background check within 6 months (7-year search including statewide, nationwide, and international if applicable)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks quarterly
• Education verification of highest nursing degree required
• State-specific background checks and registries as applicable
• Professional license primary source verification (Missouri licenses via NURSYS)
• Drug testing within 1 year, must include comprehensive panel and be valid throughout assignment
• Physical exam within 1 year
• Fit mask testing annually (N95 respirators required)
• Immunizations and titers: Tdap, TB screening, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (with specific unit exemptions noted)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Unit-specific competency exams including medication and dysrhythmia/EKG exams
• Skills checklist within 1 year of start
• References: Two professional references required (supervisors preferred)
