Experience Requirements

- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
- Education verification required (degree or certification from accredited program)
- Fingerprinting required for certain units (not typically for dieticians unless specified)
- NURSYS verification required for RNs (if applicable)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine or declination required

- TB questionnaire required annually
- Titers and/or boosters required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination required
- Drug testing within 60 days of start (9-panel minimum, instant drug screens not accepted)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required for the 2025-26 season
Competencies & Testing
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Color Blind Testing (required)
- Abuse Reporting Competency (covering physical/sexual abuse, domestic violence, neglect/exploitation)
- Competency exams relevant to specialty (e.g., Sonography or Vascular Tech exams if applicable)
Orientation & Facility Specifics
- Orientation includes exams/tests such as Pharmacology Exam, Point of Care Testing, Airborne Precaution Mask Fitting (for RNs)
- Basic Knowledge Assessment Tool (BKAT) for RNs and LPNs in certain units
- Completion of assigned learning modules during orientation week (~6 hours)

- Mask (cloth acceptable)
- Headphones (non-wireless)
