Job Details

    • 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday (evening/night shifts, e.g., 2 PM - 12:30 AM or 3 PM - 1:30 AM)
    • Weekends and holidays as needed
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years
  • Certifications Required:
    • ARRT (CT) certification required
    • EPIC experience preferred
  • Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Floating: Not required
  • Additional Info:
    • May care for COVID patients
    • Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

Experience Requirements

Required Documentation & Compliance

  • Background Checks:
    • 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
    • EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
    • HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
    • PA FBI Fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days or will be removed from assignment
    • Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search required, must be finalized prior to start (cannot start with results pending)
  • Education Verification: Highest level of education must be verified (degree, diploma, or transcripts)
  • References: 2 professional references within 3 years
  • Employment Application: Most recent resume/application required
  • Performance Evaluation: Completed onsite by Unit Managers during assignment
  • Skills Checklist: Required annually

Certifications (as applicable)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC accepted
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC accepted
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - as required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as required
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - as required
  • Tech Cert Verification - National (as applicable)
  • Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing (for RNs except OR and Home Health)
  • State License Verification (primary source online verification)
  • NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
  • NIH Stroke Certification (as required)

Competency Exams (as applicable)

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
  • Competency Exam by Profession/Specialty
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (pass/fail exam with remediation process if needed)

Facility Specific Requirements

  • Clear, professional passport-style photo for badge (no selfies, no masks, solid light background)
  • Review and sign facility documents including:
    • Medical Statement Non-Employee Ability to Work (within 90 days of start)
    • Commitment to Health & Wellness
    • Code of Conduct
    • Confidentiality Agreement
    • Non-Employee Affidavit
    • I9 Attestation (agency to complete)
    • Documentation Attestation (agency to complete)
    • Hepatitis B Declination (if applicable)
  • Complete required Learning Management System (LMS) modules prior to start (for RNs and CNAs)
  • New Hire Orientation required by end of first day

Health Requirements

  • Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
  • Immunizations and Titers:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
    • Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days (PPD not accepted)
    • Rubeola (Measles): 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters as required
    • Mumps: 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters as required
    • Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters as required
    • Hepatitis B: Positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) plus declination if applicable
    • Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer with boosters as required
    • Flu vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption required during flu season (declinations not accepted)
    • COVID-19 vaccine, medical/religious exemption, or declination accepted
  • Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year (required by agency, not facility)
  • Respiratory Safety Clearance within 1 year, renewed annually

State-Specific Requirements (Pennsylvania)

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search (Childline) required within 5 years; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days
  • Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Fingerprint Results required within 5 years; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days
  • Pennsylvania State Police PATCH Search required and must be finalized prior to start
