Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Opportunity
Location: Bend, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Census: 10 patients
- Specialty: Registered Nurse

- Prior travel experience: Not required (First-time travelers accepted)

Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring
- Conduct Neuro-intervention, Vascular, and Structured heart exams
- Use Cath lab specific equipment for hemodynamic monitoring
- Perform conscious sedation on adults following facility policies
- Assist in recovery of Cath Lab patients in SSU or PACU
- Charting: Epic preferred
- On-call requirement: 1-2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 4 weeks
- Floating: No floating outside scope of practice
- Locals accepted: No (75-mile radius restriction)
- Pending license accepted (can apply for temporary license)
- Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: 7 days
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA Provider, Instructor, or RQI acceptable
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA Provider, Instructor, or RQI acceptable
Special Procedures & Equipment
- Diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring
- Use of Philips imaging systems and Abbott Claris equipment
Background & Compliance Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check (updated annually)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 90 days of start
- Education verification and transcript/diploma on file
- Primary source verification of state license and NURSYS verification required
- Medication and competency exams as applicable
- Facility-specific documents including confidentiality agreements and emergency contact forms must be completed prior to start
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Immunizations and titers required or declination accepted for:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer required)
- Varicella
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Negative 12-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually
This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience who is comfortable working in a Cath Lab environment with specialized hemodynamic monitoring and sedation procedures. First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
