Role Overview
- Travel/Contract position in Madison, Wisconsin
- Night shift, 8 hours per day
- Typical schedule: 10:30pm–6:30am
- Sunday through Friday with rotating weekends
- Weekend shifts include Friday and Saturday, 10:30pm–6:30am
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Medical Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Medical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- ASCP or MLS certification
- Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology
- Experience in an Acute Care or Hospital setting
Additional Compliance / Onboarding Items
- Wisconsin caregiver screening and Wisconsin BID form are required
- Background check required
- Drug screen required
- TB questionnaire and negative TB or chest X-ray required
- Proof of Tdap vaccination required
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
- Hepatitis B documentation required for those with direct patient care or potential blood/body fluid exposure
- Varicella documentation required
- Measles, mumps, and rubella documentation required
- Color blind testing required for Laboratory candidates
- Employment application required
- Skills checklist required annually
- 2 clinical references within the last 3 years are required by agency standard
