MS/Tele Float

Overview

Travel/contract assignment in Oakland, California.
Home location: Highland Hospital.
Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30.
Contract length: 17 weeks.
Firm assignment dates: 11/2/2026–2/27/2027, with possible extension.
Candidate must be able to commit to the assignment dates.
Candidate should expect to work 2–3 holidays.
Max RTO is 7 days; holiday RTO is unlikely to be approved.
RTO outside blackout dates may be auto-approved up to 7 days.

Float Scope

If critical need arises, may float to Alameda Hospital and San Leandro with 4–6 hours’ notice before shift.
Will not be asked to float mid-shift.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Management of dysrhythmias
Telemetry- remote monitoring
Use of Rapid Response Teams
Blood Product Administration
Phlebotomy
Starting IVs
Non-invasive airway management
