Cath Lab Tech

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract position in Conyers, Georgia.
• Split lab assignment; the role rotates between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology.
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• 40 hours per week.
• Included in the call schedule, averaging 9 to 10 days per month.
• Floating is within facility/scope of practice as needed.
• Locals are accepted at the same rate.

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
• Cath Lab Technologist with 1 year of experience.
• Full compliance is required to start on time.
• State of Georgia license is required for CRTs and RRTs.
• Photo ID required.
• Background check must be complete before start.
• Education verification is required and must be for the related degree noted on the application.
• Physical exam statement required within 12 months of start.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 12 months of start.
• TB questionnaire required for all candidates.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 60 days of start.
• Work history verification of the most recent employer is required.
• 2 clinical references are required.
• Skills checklist required within 12 months and updated annually.
• Color blind testing is required.
• Flu vaccine or declination is required.
• BLS is required.
• ACLS is required.
• NIH Stroke Certification may be required depending on the unit description.

Scheduling / Assignment Notes

• Up to 7 RTO dates are allowed.
• One major holiday must be worked if it falls during the assignment; two major holidays must be worked if both fall during the assignment; if three major holidays fall during the assignment, two must be worked.
• Non-billable orientation hours are determined by contract length.
