Pediatrics

Role

Travel/Contract Registered Nurse in Pediatrics.

Schedule

  • Night shift, 3x12 hours
  • 19:00 to 7:30
  • Weekend coverage: every other weekend, may vary based on unit need

Unit / Setting

  • Pediatric Step Down and Pediatric Med/Surg/Tele
  • NICU experience is a plus
  • Float is required to similar units or other facilities/campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
  • Pediatric Med Surg experience
  • Telemetry experience
  • Experience with Epic
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure

Preferred

  • NICU experience

Additional Notes

  • Medication system: Omnicell
  • Unit will review first-time travelers depending on years of experience
