Operating Room RN Travel Contract

• Jennings, Louisiana

Assignment Details

• Travel/contract role
• 13-week contract
• Day shift, 5x8 hours
• 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Small rural facility
• Average daily census: 10
• 4 rooms
• May be floated to other departments if census is low
• Call required: 1 day per week and every 4th to 5th weekend
• On-call response expectation: arrive within 30 minutes of call-out
• First week includes 2 days of buddy call
• May be assigned to an emergency team during an emergency event and expected to remain at the facility or serve on the relief team

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Role Overview

• OR circulator responsibilities include OR surgery, C-sections, PACU, and Endoscopy
• Facility is not a trauma center, but occasional ER cases may occur
