Pediatric OR experience is preferred.
Must be able to scrub and circulate.
On-call coverage includes nights and weekends, with 6–12 hour shifts every six weeks.

Valid RN license in Illinois
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Pediatrics OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Criminal background check within 6 months of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM screening within 30 days of start
HHS/OIG screening within 30 days of start
State license verification within 30 days of start
14-plate Ishihara color blind exam
Unit-specific competency exam within 3 years of start, then every 3 years
Core Part I, Core Part II, Core Part III, and OSHA Mandatory requirements, updated annually
Physical exam within 1 year of start
N95 mask fit testing within 1 year of start
Tdap within 10 years of start
Negative TB screening within required timeframe
TB questionnaire annually
Measles immunity documentation
Mumps immunity documentation
Rubella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination documentation
Varicella immunity documentation
Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
