Job Overview

  • Weekly hours: 36
  • Contract length: 12 weeks
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
  • Call: None
  • Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
  • Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (1 year of experience)
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist experience

Required Certifications

  • State license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • National certification verification required within 30 days prior to start, if applicable

Compliance and Start Requirements

  • Full compliance required to start on time
  • Maximum 7 days of requested time off
  • Must work assigned major holidays if they fall during the assignment, per facility holiday policy
  • Background check must be complete before start
  • Education verification required and may be pending at start with proof it is in progress
  • Work history verification required and may be pending at start with proof it is in progress
  • 2 clinical references required
  • Skills checklist required within 12 months and updated annually
  • Physical exam required within 12 months of start
  • TB questionnaire required for all candidates
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 12 months of start
  • Drug screen required within 60 days of start
  • Flu vaccination or declination required
  • Photo ID required

Additional Notes

  • Weekend and holiday expectations apply
  • Orientation timing may delay start if compliance is not complete
