Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Santa Rosa, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Acute Care Hospital setting with 277 staffed beds
Must have experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho due to trauma status
May need to cover one night shift during the contract as needed
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Weekend work required
On-call required: approximately 6-8 shifts every 6 weeks, including nights, evenings, and weekends (8-hour shifts)
Floating between like units required
Block scheduling available at manager’s discretion
Locals accepted
Charting system: Epic
Free parking provided

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience working with Level 1 and Level 2 Trauma patients
Neuro ICU experience
Vascular Surgery experience
Orthopedics experience
