ICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (4 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Unit: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
  • Guaranteed hours: Yes
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
  • Floating: Yes, within ICU service line to other medical-surgical ICU areas
  • Block scheduling: Not accommodated
  • Local candidates: Not accepted (must live at least 75 miles from facility)
  • Pending license accepted: Yes
  • Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: No more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
  • First-time travelers accepted

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri (pending license accepted)
  • Minimum 1.5 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, with ICU experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
