Shift Details

Night shift
4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
48 hours per week

Unit Description

35-bed medical and radiation oncology unit
Specializes in oncology and hematology patients
Mixed acuity: Medical-Surgical and Advanced Care patients
Frequent care involving blood products, chemotherapy, drips, PCAs, wounds, and more
Oncology nurses with ONS certification administer chemotherapy
Navy blue scrubs required

Patient Ratios

Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, can be up to 1:5-6

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
Oncology nursing experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
