Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Pratt, Kansas
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted

Unit / Clinical Focus

• Medical surgical with strong orthopedic experience required
• General surgery experience also needed
• Ortho total hips and knees experience is a plus
• Rural health experience is a plus
• Ratio: 5:1, average less than this

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with General Surgery patients
• Experience in Charge roles
• Orthopedics experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS preferred
• PALS preferred
• Trubridge (formerly known as CPSI) EMR experience preferred, but training is available
