Medical Technologist
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Shift: 8-hour Nights (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a large, busy hospital laboratory environment (600+ beds).
- Perform accurate differentials, especially important due to large neonatal units.
- Handle a wide variety of complex samples daily, including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings.
- Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision laboratory systems is required.
- Candidates must be able to transition quickly with minimal training due to workload demands.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Clinical Laboratory specialty.
- Must hold one of the following certifications: ASCP, AMT, or AAB.
- Only candidates with Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist credentials will be considered; Medical Laboratory Technicians are not eligible.
- Experience working in a large hospital laboratory setting preferred.
- Prior travel experience is not specified or required.
