Job Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years OR experience (including trauma and robotics experience with DaVinci systems)
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications & Licenses

Active BLS certification required
Washington State RN License required (pending license submissions accepted; temporary license takes ~4 weeks)
COVID-19 vaccination required

Skills & Requirements

Experience with Epic EMR system required
Scrubbing required for RNs
Trauma experience required
Robotics experience (DaVinci) required
Ability to float to Walters Surgery unit

Work Environment

Unit: OR and OR Tech
Number of OR suites: 11
Cases per day: 30-40 (including neuro, spine, ortho, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, gyn, urology, ENT, robotics, plastics)
Shift length: 10-hour shifts (10:30 AM - 9:00 PM), flexible to 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Call schedule: 2-3 calls every 6 weeks (weeknights and weekends)
Call response time: 20 minutes for trauma cases, 30 minutes for non-trauma
Hospital scrubs provided
Unit/Department specific orientation provided

Additional Notes

Scheduling managed via Qgenda
Charge Nurse and Manager available for supervision
