RN license
2 years of ED experience
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NRP
TNCC
HSS Team workplace violence training
Driver’s license required at submittal

Unit Details

Certified stroke center
Ratios: 1:4-5 based on acuity
Common patient types include all age groups, chest pain, abdominal pain, cough/congestion, orthopedic injuries, ENT emergencies, behavioral health, sepsis, and stroke
Common drips include antibiotics, narcotics, anti-emetics, vaccines, and emergency medications
EPIC
Alaris
Charge nurse on each shift; charge nurse takes an assignment
Shifts: 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a
Every other weekend
2 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation
Navy Blue scrubs

Additional Notes

TeleHealth is utilized
Focus on purposeful rounding
Looking for a self-starter with a positive attitude, teamwork, compassion, and willingness to ask questions
RTO needed upfront; additional RTO will not be approved
