Overview

Role: RN (Registered Nurse)
Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per week: 36
Unit: 7 West (Stepdown & Floor)
Beds: 32 total beds, with 12 Stepdown and 20 Floor

Required Qualifications

BLS certification
Must be able to read telemetry strips
Must be able to float to any floor or stepdown unit

Schedule

12-hour shifts: 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a
2 weekends per schedule
Includes working a holiday

Unit Details

Ratios: 1:3 for Stepdown; 1:4-6 for Floor
Common patient population includes chest pain, COPD, AMS, pneumonia, UTI, abdominal pain, overflow for most services, and hospice
Drips are used in Stepdown; Floor patients get PCAs, heparin, etc.
Telemetry is on the unit, with telemetry monitor techs continuously monitoring strips
Scrub color: Royal Blue
