Overview

• Contract RN position in Calais, Maine
• Three 12-hour night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Summary

• Directs and coordinates the patient care team
• Develops patient care plans with physicians, patient care team members, the patient, and family when applicable
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Promotes teamwork with medical staff and personnel throughout the hospital
• Follows policies related to confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and the Americans with Disabilities Act
