Job Opportunity: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT

Location: Walton, New York

Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT is responsible for performing CT procedures accurately and safely, ensuring timely and reliable evaluation of radiology procedures, equipment, and staff. The role involves maintaining confidentiality, adhering to hospital policies, and providing effective communication with physicians, radiologists, and patients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
  • Maintain radiation safety practices for patients and co-workers.
  • Participate in Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures.
  • Provide patient education as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with referring physicians and radiologist staff.
  • Adhere to clinical principles, methods, and procedures during CT procedures.
  • Comply with hospital policies on incident reporting and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registered-ARRT(R).
  • BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).

Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT CT Registration (preferred but not required).
